  • Whats so great about Hammocks?

You know them.  We all love them.  But theoretically speaking, a hammock should be one of the most asinine inventions ever.

Seriously folks.  Hammocks are almost always pictured in front of a beach, or a tropical paradise of some sort.  But for most of us, we don't have such a luxury as an island or a beach.  We've got our backyard, probably some pine trees, and a hard ground to fall on.  So what's the attraction?  Why do we love to be tangled up in a net-like bed during the summer months?

I for one, hate the general texture of hammocks.  I hate the way the rope digs into my skin when I lay on it.  And if I move too much, the rope chafes me.  NOT comfortable, and not what I like on my summery skin.

    (See what I mean?)

Not to mention, they're impossible to stay in.  I can almost guarantee that anyone who's ever been in a hammock has fallen or nearly fallen out of it.  And odds are, none of us have a 10-inch think down pillow under us when we're on a hammock.  We fall, scrape our knees, hands, and elbows, and suffer the shame of our family and friends laughing at us.  We laugh, too, like it's a huge joke, but we're secretly humiliated.  Now we want revenge on that hammock.  We're going to tame it because no one should ever make a fool of us, especially not a net on some hooks.

You wish the worst on us, hammocks, but we love you.  Why, I'll never figure out, but we love you.  Darn you, we just want to nap in the sun.

  • Lost in my Own World.

4 more periods to go. I hate this, Its christmas Eve's eve, I shouldn't have to work! Computing sucks. It realy isn't worth it, I could be doing so much more with my time, like gym or hairdressing. Iv got another half an hour to go and every second seems like an hour. I just got outta Biology, It wasn't as boring as it usually is. Its christmas and that means no work, just sitting in school. Honestly I could be doing so much with my life right now!

I suck at Picturel. Just sitting there joking with Katherine, how Liam is like a rake an a rubbish boxer, my side still hurts from the laughter! Im thinking im going to go to the chinees for lunch, I  need some nails for the dance. Its on at 7 and to be honest, I dont realy want to go. I would just be sitting there watching all the other people having a laugh. and plus my dress is to short.

Does anybody know about Visual Basics? and how to write out the code for a calculator to work? Me either, Honestly, who cares? Like we need this in later life, im not going to be in some office sipping on my coffy and waiting for my next break! Schoool has lost its real meaning and instead of learning real stuff we are learning about crap that we dont want to know! In english the other day I had to write about an imaginary friend and how he got lost in the jungle. Seriocly-who cares? and I know iv failed my maths, It was a pile of jiberish, I missed like half the questions, Shes a rubbish teacher anyway.

Its only been ten minutes and Im depresed. I gess I can take a day of computing and browes the web for a period, its not like i havn't done enough and im defenetly not learning anything,. The guy beside me is playing online soccer. Why cant I? Plus I dont understand.

Bad day not to wear a jacket, Its raining like mad outt there. It was nice this morning, Why does Stornoway have to be so wet. no one knowes about this stinky little island. And dont come here for a holiday, Theres only 3 good shops and 1 tiniy cinima, the rest is just old book stores. This island will dive you crazy, try living in it for 14 years.

About Me

  • If you met me in person, you probably wouldn't like me. Most people think I'm a bit of a freak. I'm the girl that: ♥ In a big room of people, is probably the loner staring off into space and smiling or reading a book. ♥ Laughs at her own jokes and finds things funny that no-one else understands. ♥ Likes watching the ground as she walks with the possibility of finding money left on the ground (no luck yet!) ♥ Talks to fill in space when no-one else feels the need to speak. ♥ That dances along with her ipod while no-ones watching while on a long walk. ♥ Spends hours looking over old photographs. ♥ Can watch , Friends or the Simpsons for six hours straight. ♥ Cries watching people playing jokes on old people. ♥ Loves to party ( as you can see im the 1 to the right )
